Message to Our Clients

We want to do everything we can to protect the safety of our clients and our staff due to the concern of spreading the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and comply with the recently statewide stay-at-home order.  During this time, we will continue to meet your needs as your trusted advisors.

The tax deadline has been extended for individuals and businesses to July 15th instead of April 15th.  The IRS has also announced that taxpayers can defer making income tax payments for 2019 and estimated tax payments for 2020 that were due on April 15th until July 15th.  Many states are starting to follow the IRS in extending the tax filing deadline, however, not all states have at this time.

Even though we have additonal time to complete returns we will still be working remotely during this period.  We are discouraging clients from coming to our office, however we will be accepting documents at the offices if you are unable to email or upload them to the portal.  We are encouraging taxpayers who are expecting refunds to file as soon as possible.

How to get tax documents to us:

Mail your information to our Fox Lake or Libertyville office locations.  You can email your accountant your information or upload your information to our portal.  If you are not registered for portal please email your accountant to get setup.  Note: In our Fox Lake Location only we have a night drop slot that you can drop off your information.

If you have any additional questions please call our Fox Lake Office at 847-587-3022, Libertyville office at 847-367-4448 or email your DS&T accountant.

We wish you, your familes and your business good health.
